EDC History

Education Development College is set at the heart of Birmingham providing dynamic learning opportunities. It is set to play a key role in the learning renaissance of Birmingham, and to assist in enhancing education and skills for all. As one of the providers of both further and higher education, the College plays a pivotal role in the development of the whole area, offering a wide range of full-time programs.

EDC will help place Birmingham and the West Midlands at the forefront of education. We have formal collaborations and partnerships with The British Computing Society (BCS), Confederation of Tourism (CTH), Edexcel, Education Development International (EDI) and Institute of Administrative Management (IAM) and we are continuously working to develop further contacts and partnerships to be able to offer more programs.

As an EDC student, you will receive individual instructions in a supportive setting so that you can develop within your chosen field of education. You will find excellent teachers, many of whom hold advanced postgraduate degrees in their respective disciplines and are all qualified and experienced in the task of helping you achieve your goals as quickly as possible to the highest standards.
